this is a fairly accurate quote from our conversation Thursday morning, at a Christian men's breakfast:
"One of my worst besetting sins is that I am so incredibly competitive, about everything."
"I bet I'm more competitive than you."
"I bet you're not!"
"I'd jump right out of this second-story window!"
"Well, then I'd for sure be the most competitive man who is still in the room."
